How it actually works
Every spin on an RNG slot stands on its own — the result owes nothing to the spins before it. Changing your stake only widens or narrows the swing of a given spin; it leaves the odds of a free-spin, scatter or bonus trigger exactly where they were, and it never lifts the RTP. RTP itself is fixed at the factory, locked in by the operator when the game is integrated, and untouchable from the player's seat.

Mechanic Deep Dive
Base play stays 3x3 with three paylines, carrying over the respin and multiplier ladder from the first Fortune Gems. What's new is a scatter: three of them open six free spins, and inside that round wilds turn stacked, covering whole reels, while multipliers persist across the session. Stack those with the 5x ladder and you get the rare, outsized single-session payouts. The 10,125x cap is the maths of a full-stack-wild, top-of-ladder scenario firing at once.
Fortune Gems 3 (2024) is the series turning up the volatility. It keeps the same 3x3, three-payline shell, but the ceiling jumps from 2,000x to 10,125x thanks to a fresh free-spin mode with stacked wilds. Read it as JILI's reply to players who loved the simplicity but wanted a bigger top end.

Against Fortune Gems 1 (2,000x), it shares the DNA and roughly the hit rhythm but multiplies the ceiling fivefold. Against Pragmatic Play's Sweet Bonanza (96.48%, up to 21,100x) or PG Soft's Mahjong Ways 2 (up to 100,000x), the 10,125x sits mid-pack — but nothing in that ceiling band matches its 3x3 plainness.
